O99-27ORDINANCE NO. 099- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, REGARDING THE APPLICATION OF THE AMERICAN LEGION OF BOYNTON BEACH (APPROXIMATELY 0.17 ACRES OF LAND) AMENDING ORDINANCE 91-70 OF SAID CITY BY REZONING A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, FROM PU (PUBLIC USAGE) TO R-2 (RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has adopted Ordinance No. 91-70, in which a Revised Zoning IVlap was adopted for said City; and WHEREAS, David A. Silva., agent for the American Legion of Boynton Beach, owners of the property more particularly described hereinafter, has heretofore filed a Petition, pursuant to Section 9 of Appendix A-Zoning, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for the purpose of rezoning a certain tract of land consisting of 0.17 acres, said land being more )articularly described hereinafter, from Public Usage (PU) to Residential )uplex (R-2); and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interests of the nhabitants of said City to amend the aforesaid Revised Zoning Map as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM~MISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1: The following described land, located in the City of Boynton Beach, Florida as set forth as follows: Lot 5, Block lA, Lake Boynt on P. states, Plat No. 1 ~e and the same is hereby rezoned from Public Usage (PU) to Residential Duplex Section 5: This .assage. FIRST READING this 7' R-2). A location map is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part of this )rdinance by reference. Attached as Exhibit "B" is a copy of the :onditions/requirements for this rezoning, which are incorporated herein.
