A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,/FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TH~MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A BILLIARD REMOVAL
AND RELOCATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH AND ACKERLEY
COMMUNICATIONS, INC.,/ AND DESIGN
GRAPHICS, INC.; AND/ PROVIDING AN
WHEREAS, Ackerley Co ications, Inc., and Design
Graphics Currently maintain f~urteen (14) outdoor advertising
structures ("Billboards") ~n property in, or about to be
annexed within the City o~Boynton Beach; and
/
WHEREAS, the City/ of Boynton Beach has enacted an
Ordinance requiring the/removal of billboards, pursuant to an
abatement schedule; ~d '
WHEREAS, the city and the Companies desire to enter into
an Agreement which ~onstitutes a settlement in good faith and
in lieu of litigation to jointly resolve the issues in an
expeditious manner and without recourse to litigation or the
payment of cash/compensation by the City;
NOW, T ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF/BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, F~rida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and
City Cl~rk to execute a Billboard Removal and Relocation
Ag~eem~t between the City of Boynton Beach and Ackerley
Commu~cations, Inc., and Design Graphics, a copy of which is
anne~d hereto as Exhibit "A".
