A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RENAMING
N.W. 31ST TERRACE AS COLLINS LANE; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, employees at the main post office on Boynton Beach
Boulevard, just west of Congress Avenue, would like to
memorialize a recently deceased postal employee and friend by
renaming N.W. 31st Terrace to Collins Lane, in her honor; and
WHEREAS, N.W. 31st Terrace is a 30 foot wide roadway that
serves three parcels, one being the post office itself, another
a self storage facility south of the post office and the third
is an undeveloped parcel south of the storage facility. The
road also provides access to the back of the Boynton Plaza
Shopping Center; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
$~ction 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, does hereby authorize the renaming of N.W. 31st
Terrace to Collins Lane.
~ That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
