FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION 22-2, SUBSECTION
106.3 (SCHEDULE OF PERMIT FEES), OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH,-FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR SAVINGS
CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIOn, AN EFFECTIVE
DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOY!~TON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 22-2, Subsection 106.3 (Schedule of
Permit Fees) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, be amended to read as follows:
SCHEDULE OF PLUMBING PERMIT FEES
Pl.~!..n.g permit fees shall be as follows:
(a) Basic fee. The fee for any permit issued shall be
$13.00.
(b) In addition:
(1) Fees may be double for any work commenced
without a permit.
(2) Re-inspection fees shall be $13.00.
(3) For each and every fixture, water heater, floor
drain, roof drain, floor sink, hub drain, or other
trap, roughed in, in new construction, there shall
' be a minimum fee of $4.00
(4) For each and every sanitary sewer connection,
$7.00.
($) For each and every storm sewer connection, $7.'.00
seepage pits, $7.00
(6) For each. fixture exchange of 3 fixtures or less,
$7.00for each additional fixture, $4.00
(7) For each and every water to, or outlet for, an
appliance, or installation not covered by a fixture
permit, $4.00
(8) For each and every water service to a building,
$7.00
(9) For each and every waste or water repiping not
covered by a fixture permit, $ 7.00.
(10) For each supply well up to 2 inches, $13.00 3
inches, $40..00over 3 inches, $98.00.
(11) Vacuum breakers, up to 5 shall be $ 4.00each
additional shall be $1.30.
(12) For each steam boiler, hot water boiler, $13.00up
to 50,000 BTU's; 50,000 to 350,000 BTU's, '$33,00
over 350,000 BTU's, $65.00.
(13) For each air compressor up to and including 3,000
PSI $13.00 over 3,000 PSI,S13.0(1 plus.S1.30 per
1,000 PSI.
(14) For each solar system consisting of 1 heater, 1
tank, and 1 panel,$7~. 00. each additional panel or
storage tank or heater, $4.
(15) For each water treatment system, $7.00 per
$1,000.00; replacement of equipment, S7.0(} per
(16) For each fire sprinkler head in buildings, $1.30per
head.
(17) For each sprinkler system in lawns, $7.00.
(18) For each septic tank and/or drain field,S7.00.
(19) For grease traps & sumps:
0 to 100 gallons

over ?50 gallons .............. $7.00per 100 gal.
GAS
- The fees for permits required by the gas code shall be as
follows:
(a) For each and every gas, air, oil, oxygen, etc., outlet,
$4'..00.
(b) For each conversion burner, incinerator, boiler, wall
furnace, water heater, fees shall be $13.00for the first
Unit and $7 ,-0Deach for additional units.
(c) For each underground storage tank up to 4,000 gal.,
$2.0Oper tank.
(d) For each underground storage tank 4,000 gal. or
greater, $7..0,pplus $1.30 per 1,000 gal.
(e) For each lift, $7.00.
Section 2. Authority to Codify: Specific authority is
hereby granted to codify and incorporat~ this ordinance in the
City's Existing Code. -
Section 3. Separability: Each of the provisions of this
ordinance is separable, including word, clause, phrase or
sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid,
the remaining portion shall not be affected but shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 4. ~epealin~ Provision: Ail ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. An Effective Date: This ordinance shall
become effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
