THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING APPENDIX A - ZONING, SECTION
10. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT. A. COM-
POSITION AND PROCEDURE: 1. TO PROVIDE
THAT ALL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT SHALL BE RESIDENTS AND
ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE,
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AUTHORITY TO
CODIFY, AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: Appendix A - Zoning, Section 10. Board of
Adjustment. A. Composition and Procedure: 1. of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
1. The Board of Adjustment shall con-
sist of seven (7) regular members
and not more than two (2) alternate
members, who shall be appointed by
the City Council, all of whom shall
serve for terms of one year from
date of appointment. Vacancies on
the Board shall be filled by appoint-
ment by the City Council. Members
of the Board may be removed by a
majority of the total members of
the City Council. Members and
alternates of the Board shall be
residents and electors of the City.
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: That should any section or provisions of thi~
Ordinance or any provision thereof be declared by a court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4: Authority is hereby given to codify this
Ordinance.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall~ become effective
immediately upon its passage.
