A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COM~4ISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THE AWARD OF A BID FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
SUB AREA #1, PHASE III - LANDSCAPE ONLY,
TO REED LANDSCAPING, INC.; AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYORAND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND REED LANDSCAPING, INC.,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were received for the Co~unity Development
Block Grant Sub Area #1, Phase III - Landscape Only, (Bid No.
057-392-95/VSMG) on the 15th day of August, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the CiSy Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, upon reco£c~cLendation of staff, has deemed it to
be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida to award the bid to Reed
Landscaping, Inc., as the most responsive and responsible
bidder meeting specs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~ISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
~_~ The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, hereby approves the award of a bid for the
CBDG Phase III Sub Area #1, Landscape Only to Reed
Landscaping, Inc., and authorizes and directs the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute a Contract between the City of Boynton
Beach and Reed Landscaping, Inc., a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A"
Section 2. That this Resolution
effective immediately upon passage.
