A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND ADRIAN
VERZAAL, SR.; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the subject property is located on the south side of Flavor Pict
Road, approximately 1200 feet west of Military Trail, in the City's unincorporated
service area; and
WHEREAS, the property owner is planning to upgrade the current facility by
adding operations building for their wholesale nursery business, which will exert a
demand of approximately two equivalent dwelling units for water; and
WHEREAS, this utility does not have water or sewer mains west of Military
Trail on Flavor Pict Road, although we do plan to construct a 12-inch water main on the
north side of Flavor Pict Road to the E-3 canal for an emergency interconnect with
Palm Beach County's water system; and
WHEREAS, this application is for water only at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Water Service Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and
Adrian Verzaal, Sr., said Agreement being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
~ This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
