A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AN DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN ESCROW ADDENDUM BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
(CDC) AND PATRICK BERNARD AND MARIE BERNARD
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RESIDENTIAL
LEASE/OPTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
BOYNTON BEACH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION AND PATRICK BERNARD AND MARIE
BERNARD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered in an Agreement with the Boynton
Beach Community Development Corporation to assist in the restoration of Boynton's
neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the execution of a Residential Lease/Option
Agreement between the CDC and Patrick and Marie Bernard, the City will be acting as
an escrow agent for the collection of funds and subsequent payment of taxes on the
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an
Escrow Addendum between the City of Boynton Beach, the Boynton Beach CDC and
Patrick and Marie Bernard.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
