A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH FOR THE WOOLBRIGHT ROAD
BEAUTIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach previously entered
into a Financial Assistance Agreement with the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County for the installation of
beautification improvements on the County's Woolbright Road
right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled completion date of the pro3ect was
September 30, 1994 and
WHEREAS, the City has encountered various delays in
completing the project and has requested a time extension;
and
WHEREAS, the City and County have mutually agreed to
extend the completion date of the project to September 30,
1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
$-~ The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute the Amendment to Financial Assistance
Agreement between the Board of County Commissioners of Palm
Beach County and the City of Boynton Beach, providing for an
extension of time to complete the Wootbright Road
beautification project, a copy of said agreement being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A"

Agreement shall not become binding until the date executed by the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County.
4. Except as expressly modified or amended here~n, all
terms and conditions of the Financial Assistance Agreement dated
