A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE CONGRESS
AVENUE BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach was allocated up to
$16,587 in County beautification grant monies for the median
of Congress Avenue from the Lake Worth Drainage District L-30
Canal to Summit Drive; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into an Interlocal
Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and the Board of
County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, formalizing said
grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
~ The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said Interlocal Agreement between the
City of Boynton Beach and the Board of County Commissioners of
Palm Beach County, said Agreement being attached hereto as
Exhibit "A".

effective immediately upon passage.
