A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT (C-7 DATA ACQUISITION AND
CONTROL SYSTEM) BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND JOHNSON YOKOGAWA
CORP., PROVIDING FOR CONTROLS AND CONTROL
ROOM RENOVATIONS AT THE EAST WATER
TREATMENT PLANT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida upon
recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and
residents of the City to enter into a Contract with Johnson Yokogawa in the amount of
$422,161, with the balance of the work to be completed in house at a cost of $117,500,
for a total project cost of $539,661.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Contract (C-7 DACS)
with Johnson Yokogawa, in the amount of $422,161, a copy of said Agreement being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", with the balance of the work to be completed in-house
at a cost of $117,500, for a total project cost of $539,661.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective imrhediately upon passage.
