AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 26-58, "SERVICE
CHARGES PRESCRIBED", OF CHAPTER 26, "WATER,
SEWERS AND CITY UTILITIES", BY REPEALING IN
ITS ENTIRETY (AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 75-15
ON MAY 16, 1975); PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT~ PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary to amend its u~ility rates; and
WHEREAS, the utility rates for sanitary sewer have been
put forth in the Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate to adopt utility rates
by Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, be amended by repealing Section 26-58,
"Service Charges P~escribed,', of Chapter 26, "Water, Sewers and
City Utilities" in its entirety.
Section 2. Authority to Codify. Specific authority is
hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the
City's existing Code.
Section 3. Separability. Each of the provisions of thi~
Ordinance'are separable, including word, ~!ause, phrase or sen~enc,
and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid, the remainin¢
portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and
effect.
Section 4. Repealinq Provisions. Ail Ordinances or
parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become
effective on N~v~be~r~, 'i982.
