A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING pRIORITIES FOR
STORM DRAINAGE PROJECTS ON PUBLIC
PROPERTIES, PUBLIC EASEMENTS OR
PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach has reviewed a
status report prepared by staff, on the stormwater management program; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach has determined
that it is in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Boynton Beach to
establish priorities for storm drainage projects on public properties, public easements or
public rights of way;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
The above recitals are true and correct and are hereby incorporated

Section 2. The City Commission hereby establishes priorities for storm
drainage projects on public properties, public easements or public rights of way, as
follows:

Protection of dwelling units or places of business
from flooding
Maintaining safe access on public streets
Protection of accessory buildings or structure for
residential or business property
Protection of yards from flooding or slow drainage
Priority Five:

This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
