A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE
SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT,
TO PROVIDE FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE FUNDING
OF $71,080 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1995, FOR
COMPLETION OF THE C-16 LINEAR PARK PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has
previously entered into an Agreement with the South Florida Water Management
District, No. C-5114-A1, which Agreement was amended by Resolution No. R94-125
and expires on February 15, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to further extend the Agreement to September 30,
1995, for the purpose of allowing the City an extension of time to complete
development of the linear park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON B EACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Amendment No. 2 to the
Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and The South Florida Water
Management District, extending the expiration date to September 30, 1995, on C-16
Linear Park Project. A copy of said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
~ This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.

This AMEND1ME~NT NO. 2, made this day of , 1995 to that
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMI~NT") dated November 16, 1993 and
subsequently amended on August 15, 1994, between "the Parties", the South Florida Water
Management District ("the DISTRICT") and the City of Boynton Beach, .Flbrida ("the CITY").
WITNESSETH:
THAT WHEREAS, the AGREEMENT may be amended with the prior written approval
of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the AGREEMI~IT expires on February 15, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the AGREEMI*~NT for the purpose of allowing
the CITY an additional extension of time to complete development of the linear park; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the DISTRICT, at its February 1995 meeting, has
authorized this AMI*~NDMI*.NT NO. 2;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits flowing from each to the other, the
parties agree to amend the AGREEMI*~NT as follows:
1. The expiration date of the AGREEMENT is hereby extended to September 30,
1995. Regardless of the actual date of execution, this AMlZ. NDMENT NO. 2 shall be effective
as of February 15, 1995.
2. This AM~NDMENT NO. 2 shall be at no additional cost to the DISTRICT. All

deliverables which are due under the AGREEMlZ~NT shall be completed on or before this
revised expiration date.
3. All other terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT remain unchanged.
