A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION TO PROCESS POTABLE WATER
SERVICE TO PROPERTIES LOCATED ON CHUKKER ROAD
LOCATED OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
upon recommendation of staff, deems it in the best interest of the
citizens and residents of the City of Boynton Beach to authorize
administrative action to process potable water service agreements
for properties located along Chukker Road, a neighborhood lying
east of Federal Highway and outside the jurisdictional boundaries
of the City of Boynton Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Utilities Director is hereby authorized to
sign off on all plans and applications for potable water services
systems serving those properties located along Chukker Road, east
of Federal Highway.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby approves potable water
service to all parcels located along Chukker Road, east of Federal
Highway on the condition that each land owner hereinafter submit an
executed agreement for water services, with all supporting
documents, prior to being connected to the water system.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
