WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has an indepen~
Firemen's Pension Fund created in conjunction with Chapter 175
the Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes Section 175.351 provides flexibi

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Firement Pension Fund
that it would be in the 'best interest of the City to change
retirement age and employee contribution.
NOW,
THEREFORE,--- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

Section 3. Those extra one-time Payments authorized to be
)aid to firefighters over their base pay, as outlined in Article 8,
"Wages',, Section 1, of the Agreement between the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, and Boynton Beach Association of Firefighters,
Local 1891 of the International Association of Firefighters, AFL-

Section 4-- That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in

Section 5. That should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion hereof be declared ~by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall become effective immediate-
ly upon its passage.
