WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has an indepen~ Firemen's Pension Fund created in conjunction with Chapter 175 the Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, Florida Statutes Section 175.351 provides flexibi in determ~n~ng~ ~ retirement ages and employee contribution; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Firement Pension Fund that it would be in the 'best interest of the City to change retirement age and employee contribution. NOW, THEREFORE,--- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: Sgction 1.
