O81-18ORDINANCE NO. 81- /~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 13 "LICENSES" SECTION 13-22 OF THE BOYNTON BEACH CITY CODE 1981 CODIFICATION, "LICENSE TAX SCHEDULE" BY UPDATING THE OUTDATED SiCHEDULE TO INCLUDE ALL OCCUPA- TIONS PRESENTLY WITHIN THE CITY; BY PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE; PRO- VIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the present license tax schedule of the City of Boynton Beach is ambiguous in certain areas and does not specifi- cally include many occupations operating within the City; and WHEREAS, the present license tax schedule calls for many interpretations; and WHEREAS, the adoption of a new schedule is not intended to raise the occupational license tax of any particular occupa- tion; and WHEREAS, a new license schedule will be beneficial to both the applicants and the staff of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS~ Section 1.
