Minutes 09-14-82MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD AT CITY HALL, BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 1982. PRESENT Walter Marty Trauger, Mayor James R. Warnke, Vice Mayor Joe deLong, Councilman Patricia Woolley, Councilmember Samuel Lamar Wright, Councilman Peter L. Cheney, City Manager Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk James Vance, City Attorney In accordance with Section 56 of the City Charter, Mayor Trauger called the special meeting to order at 7:01 P.M. to consider a resolution authorizing acquisition by eminent domain of well sites. Mr. Vance said it was his understanding that the owners have now agreed to deliver to the city the necessary easements and we should receive them Thursday morning. However, due to delays encountered in the past, he recommended adoption of the resolution. The City Attorney read Proposed Re~0lution No. 82-MMM by title only: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DECTARING ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF RAW WATER WELLS, TOGETHER WITH EASEMENTS FOR ~ IN- STALLATION OF UNDERGROUND PIPES, SANITARY HAZARD RESTRICI~D AREA EAS~KNTS AND A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT, TO BE A PUBLIC NECES- SITY; AUTHORIZING THE ~4P~ OF APPRAISERS AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS. Councilman deLong moved to adopt Resolution 82-MMM. Motion seconded by Vice Mayor Warnke and a roll call vote was taken. Councilmember Woolley - Aye Councilman Wright - Aye Councilman deLong - Aye Mayor Trauger - Aye Vice Mayor Warnke - Aye Motion carried 5-0. Councilman deLong moved to adjourn. member Woolley and carried 5-0. Motion seconded by Council- Meeting adjourned at 7:05 P.M.
