O80-37ORDINANCE NO. 80-37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 15 (LICENSES) SECTION 15-18 LICENSE TAX SCHEDULE BY REVISING THE LICENSE FEES PROVIDED FOR IN SAID CHAPTER; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes 205.043, the City of Boynton Beach has not been allowed to raise their Occupational License Fees since October 1, 1971, and WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature in its 1980 Session has amended said law to allow for an increase in Occupational License Fees, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, fee that it would be in the best interest of the citizens of Boynton ~Beach to raise the Occupational License Fees in accordance with said Statutes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Chapter 15 (Licenses) of the Code of the City of Boynton Beach Section 15-18 License Tax Schedule is hereby amended to read as follows: SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT A Section 2. · with are repealed. Section 3. Ail provisions of ordinances in conflict here- That should any word, paragraph, or phrase of this Ordinance. be found unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, said finding shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
