A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE C I TY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE FIVE ( 5 )
AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND XEROX
CORPORATION FOR THE PURCHASE AND LEASING
OF COPIERS FOR CITY HALL; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the lease, with option to purchase, for the 1190
copier located in the City Clerk's Office was set to expire in
December, 1994; and
WHEREAS, upon further review by staff and negotiations with
Xerox Corporation, it has been determined that the City can
exercise its option to purchase the 1090 copier, as well as enter
into Lease Agreements for four (4) other copiers to be oc ed
throughout the City Hall complex at a reduced annual cost to he
General Fund of $1,572.12;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT=
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boyn
Beach, Florida, hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and CJ
Clerk to execute five separate agreements between the City
Boynton Beach and Xerox Corporation, one for purchase of the 1(
copier and four (4) lease agreements, copies of which Ag
are attached hereto as composite Exhibit "A"
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediat.
upon passage.
