A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A NO-COST SUPPLEMENT TO THE
PREVIOUSLY APPROVED SIXTY-THREE (63) MONTH
APPLICATION SERVICE PROVIDER AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND
SUNGARD PUBLIC SECTOR, INC., FOR A CASH
RECEIPTS INTERFACEILOCKBOX; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on October 20, 2009, the City Commission approved an Agreement

with SunGard HTE for a sixty-three month Application Service Provider Agreement; and

WHEREAS, this no-cost supplement will benefit the City by the elimination of
18
most manual work involved in receipt of electronic check payments for residents utility bills
19
and replaces the need to enter the names and payment amounts which will speed up the
20
process and reduce keying errors that may occur; and
21
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the City Commission has determined
22
that it is in the best interests of the residents of the City to approve and authorize the City
23
Manager to execute the no-cost Supplement to the SunGard Public Sector Inc., Application
24
Service Provider Agreement Schedule A - Order Form for a cash receipts interfacellockbox.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF

THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1.
The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
28 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
hereof.
Section 2.
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does

hereby approve, authorize and directs the City Manager to execute the no-cost Supplement
2 to the SunGard Public Sector Inc., Application Service Provider Agreement Schedule A -
3 Order Form for a cash receipts interface/lockbox, a copy of the Supplement is attached
4 hereto as Exhibit "A".

Section 3.
This Resolution will become effective immediately upon passage.
