3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
4 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
5 RELEASE OF MUNICIPAL NUISANCE ABATEMENT
6 LIENS ON CRA VACANT PROPERTY LOCATED AT
7 NORTHWEST 11 m AVENUE; AUTHORIZING AND
8 DIRECTING THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS BE
9 EXECUTED TO EFFECTUATE THE RELEASE OF
10 MUNICIPAL NUISANCE ABATEMENT LIENS ON
11 PROPERTY LOCATED AT NW 11m AVENUE,
12 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING AN
13 EFFECTIVE DATE.

15 WHEREAS, in October, 2005, the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment
16 Agency acquired real property located at NW 11 th Avenue, Boynton Beach; and
17 WHEREAS, this property is part of the Land Swap Agreement which the CRA will
18 be transferring to the City; and
19 WHEREAS, a lien search report of the property reveals the existence of three (3)
20 nuisance abatement liens against Gloria Skinner, a prior owner, created by Resolution No.
21 01-45 which was adopted by the City Commission on March 6, 2001 as follows: Lien No.
22 01-82/CEB #97-3110, Lien NO':'"e~/CEB #00-0017, and Lien No. 01-84/CEB #98-1493;

24 WHEREAS, in order for the CRA to transfer clear title of the property to the City it
25 is recortunended that the City release the referenced nuisance abatement liens; and
26 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida upon
27 recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interest of the residents of Boynton Beach
28 to release the above-stated nuisance abatement liens.
29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
30 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1.
The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as

1 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
2 hereof.

Section 2.
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
4 authorizes the release of the nuisance abatement liens against Gloria Skinner, the prior owner,
5 which were created by Resolution No. 01-45 and adopted by the City Commission on March
6 6,2001, as follows: Lien No. 01-82/CEB #97-3110, Lien No:-tH---8z/CEB #00-0017, and
01-83*
7 Lien No. 01-84/CEB #98-1493.

Section 3.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to execute and record the appropriate
9 documents in order to release the liens.

Section 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
