RIO - 08'"1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A SIXTY DAY EXTENSION OF THE "NOTICE OF INTENT" APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 10-021; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Notice of Intent (NOI #2010-2) by Resolution RI0-021 on February 2, 2010; and WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent was to be in effect from the date of adoption and 13 thereafter for a maximum period of 180 days, unless otherwise extended by the City 14 Commission by subsequent Resolution following public hearing; and 15 WHEREAS, staff has recommended the temporary moratorium be extended for 60 days thereby extending the time period from August 1, 2010 to October 1,2010 to allow additional time for the completion of mapping exercises and related analysis including review of other local regulations and the consideration of applicable federal regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby extend the Notice of Intent #2010-2, originally approved by Resolution No. RIO-021, for an additional sixty days, to expire on October 1,2010. 2 Section 3.
