4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
5 BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A SECOND SIXTY
6 DAY EXTENSION OF THE "NOTICE OF INTENT"
7 APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 10-020; AND
8 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

10 WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Notice of Intent (NOI #2010-1) by
II Resolution RIO-020 on February 2, 2010; and
12 WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent was to be in effect from the date of adoption and
13 thereafter for a maximum period of 180 days, unless otherwise extended by the City
14 Commission by subsequent Resolution following public hearing; and
15 WHEREAS, on July 6, 2010 the City Commission authorized a sixty (60) day extension
I of the Notice of Intent and moratorium; and
WHEREAS, the additional sixty (60) days is necessary to cover the time period existing
I between the planned review by the Planning and Development Board on October 26, 2010 and
I the planned adoption date of November 16,2010; and
2 WHEREAS, staff has recommended the temporary moratorium be extended for and
21 additional 60 days thereby extending the time period from September 29, 2010 to November 28,
2 2010.
2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
2 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
2 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
2 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
2 hereof.

I Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby
2 extend the Notice of Intent #2010-1, originally approved by Resolution No. R 1 0-020, for an
3 additional sixty days, to expire on November 28,2010.
4 Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
