A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE
APPOINTMENT BY CITY MANAGER CARRIE
PARKER, OF DALE S. SUGERMAN, ASSISTANT
CITY MANAGER FOR THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA AT GRADE 39 OF THE PAY
PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for the position of Assistant City
Manager for the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, according to the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
all officers of the City shall be appointed by the City Manager, subject to the
confirmation by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has
recommended that Dale S. Sugerman be appointed as Assistant City Manager for
the City of Boynton Beach, at a starting salary of $66,000 with assignment to the
appropriate step of Grade 39 of the pay plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
hereby approves and confirms the appointment of Dale S. Sugerman, as Assistant
City Manager for the City of Boynton Beach, Florida at a starting salary of $66,000
and assignment to the appropriate step of Grade 39 of the pay plan.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
