3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
4 FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
5 YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2010, AND ENDING
6 SEPTEMBER 30, 2011 BY TRANSFERRING $185,000.00 FROM
7 THE JAYCEE PARK CIP PROJECT AND $250,000.00 FROM THE
8 OCEANFRONT BOARDWALK CIP PROJECT FOR A TOTAL
9 TRANSFER OF $435,000.00 TO THE CONGRESS A VENUE
10 BARRIER FREE PARK PROJECT; AUTHORIZING
11 ADDITIONAL SAVINGS, IF A V AILABLE, FROM THE
12 OCEANFRONT BOARDWALK PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT
13 TO EXCEED $4000,000.00 PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
14 DATE.

16 WHEREAS, a final budget was approved by the City Commission on September 27,
17 20 I 0, for the 2010/11 fiscal year; and
18 WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized the use of any project savings from
19 both Jaycee Park CIP Project and the Oceanfront Park CIP Project to fund the Congress
20 A venue Barrier Free Park project; and
21 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach deems it to be in the
22 best interests of the residents and citizens of the City of Boynton Beach to approve the
23 transfer of $185,000.00 from the Jaycee Park CIP Project and $250,000.00 from the
24 Oceanfront Boardwalk CIP Project for a total transfer of $435,000.00 for the construction of
25 the Congress Avenue Barrier-Free Park Project.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
27 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
28 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being
29 true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof.
30 Section 2. That the final budget of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for the
31 fiscal year beginning October 1, 2010, and ending September 30, 2011, is hereby amended
32 by providing for a transfer of $185,000.00 from the Jaycee Park CIP Project and
33 $250,000.00 from the Oceanfront Boardwalk CIP Project for a total transfer of $435,000.00
34 for the construction of the Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park Project.
35 Section 3. All delinquent taxes collected during the ensuing fiscal year as

I proceeds from levies of operation millages of prior years are hereby specifically appropriated
2 I for the use of the General Fund.
3 Section 4. All Resolution or parts of Resolution in conflict herewith are hereby
4 repealed to the extent of such conflict.
