4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
5 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A
6 ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO THE hANNUAL
7 CONTRACT FOR MEDICAL AND DRUG SUPPLIES"
8 BID NO. 025-1412-10/JA WITH THREE VENDORS;
9 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS, on April 7, 2009, the City Commission approved the award of a
12 joint bid with the City of Delray Beach for the Annual Contract for Medical and Drug
13 Supplies with an estimated annual expenditure of $155,000.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the term of the contract was February 18, 2009 through February 17,
15 2010 with the option for an additional one year extension at the same terms and
16 conditions; and
17 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, upon
18 recommendation of staff, has deemed it to be in the best interests of the citizens and
19 residents of the City of Boynton Beach to award the one year extension of the "Annual
20 Contract for Medical and Drug Supplies", Bid No. 025-1412-10/JA for a contract period
21 from February 18,2011 through February 17,2012.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
23 OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
24 Section 1. Each Whereas clause set forth above is true and correct and
25 incorporated herein by this reference.
26 Section 2. The City Commission of the City Of Boynton Beach, Florida,
27 hereby approves the one year extension of the "Annual Contract for Medical and Drug
28 Supplies", Bid No. 025-1412-10/JA for a contract period from February 18,2011 through

1 February 17,2012.
2 Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
