AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DATA
PROCESSING, PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, in accordance with the City Charter as provided in
Section 23, deems it necessary and essential to establish the
Department of Data Processing in order to provide for the
efficient daily operation of the municipal government; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: A Department of Data Processing is hereby
established.
Section 2: The Department of Data Processing will be
utilized to assist and direct in the organization and develop-
ment of specialized computer programming for all departments of
the City.
Section 3: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall take
effect upon its final passage.
