AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, A~CE~NDING SECTION 31-3. OF THE CODE
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA (ORDINANCE NUMBERS
73-2, 73-13, 73-56 AND 75-19) TO PROVIDE
FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL
ALTER~I~TE ME~BER OF SAID BOARD.
!~{EREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, is desirous of amending Section 31-3 of the Code of
Boynton Beach, Florida, to orovide for the appointment of an
additional alternate member to said Board to serve in the absence
or disability of one of the regular members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: Section (1) of Section 31-3 of the Code
of Boynton Beach is amended as follows, by deleting the word two
(2) in lines 2 and 3 and inserting in its olace~ the word three
(1.3).
As amended, the first sentence of Section 31-3, Section
(1) shall read as follows~ "A community appearance board is
hereby established which shall consist of seven (7) regular
members and three (3) alternate members".
Section 2. The remaining provisions of Section 31-3
of the Code. are ratified and reaffi~rmed.
Section 3. That should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof be declared by a Court of com-
petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5~ This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately uoon its passage~
