AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA REPEALING
SECTIONS 60, 61 A/~D 69 OF THE CITY
CHARTER PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Sections 60, 61 and 69 of the Charter of the City
of Boynton Beach have been superseded and replaced by Section
49 of the City Charter which provides that all department heads
shall be appointed by the City Manager.
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of eliminating
conflicting and/or confusing sections of the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE A~D IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: Sections 60, 61 and 69 of the Charter of the
City of Boynton Beach are hereby repealed.
Section 2: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall take
effect upon its final passage.
