O79-26AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYI~ON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1979, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980. WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, ~lorida, requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the ~ity Council of said municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue of the City from all sources and the estimated expenditures to the various purposes for the ensuing fiscal year: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section !: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year previously prepared by the City Manager, rewiewed and amended by City Council, and now on file in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby finalized and adopted for the fiscal year of said municipality beginning October 1, 1979, and ending September 30, 1980, pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of Section 28 and ~ection 84 of the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, said budget b~ing made a part hereof by reference. Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of 57,996,172 to the General Fund for the payment of operating .=xpenses and necessary capital outlay for the City Government )ursuant to the terms of the above budget. Section 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of ~11,170 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service _--or the purpose of paying the interest, principal and reserve due on the general obligation bonds of the City not.sub.jeer, to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. Section 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of ~3,055,721 to the Water and Sewer Utility Fund for operating xpenses and necessary capital outlay. Page 1 of 2 Pages Section 5: That there is hereby appropriated to the Water and Sewer Utility Fund the sum of $977,432 for the purpose of paying interest due on the Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds, the sum of $550,000 for depreciation of the utilities fixed assets and amortization of its Revenue Bond Discounts and prepaid insurance, for a total of $1,527,432. Section 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $36,680 to the Publicity and Advertising Fund for the payment of operating expenses pursuant to the terms of the above budget. Section 7: That this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, in such cases made and provided. First reading this 21st day of August, 1979. Second reading this ~ day of September, 1979.
