A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE
SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT,
TO PROVIDE FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE FUNDING
OF $71,080 TO FEBRUARY 15, 1995, FOR COMPLETION
OF THE O-16 LINEAR PARK PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has
previously entered into an Agreement with the South Florida Water Management
District, No. C-5114-A1, which Agreement expires on November 15, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the Agreement to February 15, 1995, for
the purpose of allowing the City an extension of time to complete development of the
linear park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
~ The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Amendment No. 1 to the
Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and The South Florida Water
Management District, extending the expiration date to February 15, 1995, on C-16
Linear Park Project. A copy of said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
~ This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.

Parties", the South Florida Water Management District ("the DISTRICT") and the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida ("the CITY").
WITNESSETH:
THAT WHEREAS, the AGREEMENT may be amended with the prior written approval
of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the AGREEMENT expires on November 15, 1994; and
WI4EREAS, the parties wish to amend the AGREE1VfE. NT for the purpose of allowing
the CITY an extension of time to complete development of the linear park;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits flowing from each to the other, the
.parties agree to amend the AGREEMP~NT as follows:
1. The expiration date of the AGREEMENT is hereby extended to February 15, 1995.
2. TMs AM1ZNDMENT NO. ! shall be at no additional cost to the DISTRICT.
3. All other terms and conditions of the AGREEM'ENT remain unchanged.
