AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 78-34 TO
PROVIDE FOR AN AMENDED ESTIMATE OF REVENUE
AND EXPENSES FOR TH~ FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 1978 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 307 1979.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of
Boynton ~.eaeh, Florida, an appropriations ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 78-34, was heretofore passed and adopted by the
City Council of said City, adopting a budget showing revenue of
the City from all ~sourees and the estimated expenditures to the
various purposes for the ensuing fiscal year; and
WHEREAS7 subsequent to the adoption of said ~rdinance
No. 78-347 the City of Boynton Beach had unappropriated Federal
Revenue Sharing in the amount of $817958.00 in the form of Anti-
Recession Fiscal Assistance~ and
WHEREAS7 the City Council of said City deems it essen-
tial to appropriate the said amount of $817958.00 to various
departments as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the estimated revenue of the City of
Boynton Beach~ Florida, be and the same is hereby increased by
the amount of $819958.00 received from the said Anti-Recession
Fiscal Assistance Program of the Federal Government.
Section 2: That the said $81,958.00 is hereby
appropriated to be expended, a copy of said appropriations being
attached hereto made a pert thereof.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
First reading this 20th day of March7 1979.
Second, final reading and passage this .~ day of
April, !979.
