AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 78-33 OF THE CODIFIED ORDI-
NANCES OF SAID CITY, PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE PAY,
SICK PAY, AND VACATION PAY FOR CITY MANAGER IN EVENT
OF DISCHARGE; PROVIDING FURTHER FOR SAVINGS CLAUSE,
REPEALING PROVISION, AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 78-33, enacted by the City
Council on the 1st day of August , 1978, providing for
severance pay, sick pay, and vacation pay for City Manager in
event of discharge~ is hereby repealed in its entirety°
Section 2: Separability: Each of the provisions of this
Ordinance is separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence
and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid,' the remain-
ing portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force
and effect.
Section 3: Repealing Provision: All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: An Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
