RESOLUTION NO. R94-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT (No. 001) TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND PALM BEACH COUNTY, TO PROVIDE FOR
AN EXTENSION OF THE COMPLETION DATE OF THE
C-16 LINEAR PARK PROJECT TO MARCH 31,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has
previously entered into an Agreement with Palm Beach County on January 18, 1994,
to provide $77,800 of Community Development Bock Grant funds for park
improvements in Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the project completion date from
September 30, 1994 to March 31, 1995,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Amendment No. 001 to
the Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and Palm Beach County
extending the completion date,to March 31, tgcj,~ on C-16 Linear Park Project. A copy
of said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.

X 1994, by and between Palm Beach County and the City of
Boynton each.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, Palm Beach County entered into an agreement with
the City of Boynton Beach, on January 18, 1994, approved by
Document R94 -66D, to provide $77,800 of Community Development
Block Grant funds for park improvements in Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the project
completion date; and
WHEREAS, both parties mutually agree that the original
agreement entered into on January 18, 1994 is hereby amended
as follows:
I. Part III - Section 1: Maximum Compensation, Line 9
& 10: Substitute: "January 18, 1994 through March 31,
1995. ", for "January 18, 1994 through September 30,
1994 ".
II. Part III- Section 2: Time of Performance,
last line:
Substitute : "March 31, 1995" for "September 30, 1994"
Exhibit A : Work Program Narrative: Section 1 E Work
Schedule : Delete the existing and replace with the
following:
"The time frame for completion of the outlined
activities shall be March 31, 1995.
Activities Completion Date
Complete Plans and specifications September 12, 1994
Advertise and Accept Bids September 30, 1994
Award /Contract October 31, 1994
Start Construction November 30, 1994
Project completion March 31, 1995"
NOW THEREFORE, all items in the previous agreement in
conflict with the amendment shall be and are hereby changed
to conform to this amendment.
All provisions not in conflict with this aforementioned
amendment are still in effect and shall be performed at the
same level as specified in the Agreement.
