R94-120RESOLUTION NO. R94-/,~,~,~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R94-26, PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF QUALIFIED TOW COMPANYS AND QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS FROM A MAXIMUM OF FIVE TO A MAXIMUM OF SEVEN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has previously approved Resolution No. R94-26, which established an administrative procedure for the selection of motor vehicle towing contractors on a rotating basis; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has deemed it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City to increase the number of qualified tow companys and qualified contractors from five (5) to seven (7); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby authorizes and directs that the Section entitled "Purpose" in the Standard Operating Procedures, approved by Resolution No. R94-26, shall be amended by adding the words and figures in underlined type and by deleting the words and figures in struck- through type, as follows: The City of Boynton Beach is actively seeking... The City is seeking a maximum offfhte-l'~ seven (7) and a minimum of three (3) qualified tow companys to provide Class A and Class B towing services.
