4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
5 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE
6 SECOND EXTENSION OF THE INTERLOCAL
n AGREEMENT FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES BETWEEN
8 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE
0 COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR AN
i ADDITIONAL THREE (3) YEAR TERM; AND
II t PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

114 WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach and the Community Redevelopment Agency
6 (CRA) entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Technical Support on February 28, 2006 for
116 an initial term from February 1, 2006 through January 31, 2009; and
V WHEREAS, pursuant to the paragraph 3 of the Agreement entitled "Term ", the CRA
lia was granted the right to renew the Agreement for two (2) additional three (3) year terms; and
1i9 WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the initial extension of the Interlocal
210 Agreement on March 3, 2009, via Resolution 09 -042 covering the period of February 1, 2009
1 through January 31, 2012; and
2J WHEREAS, the CRA desires to extend the Interlocal Agreement for a second term of
23 three (3) years from February 1, 2012 through January 31, 2015.
341 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
21,5 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

26 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
27 as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
28i hereof.
41 Section 2. The City Commission approves the second extension of the February

28, 2006 Interlocal Agreement for technical support for a three (3) year term from February 1,
2 2012 through January 31, 2015. CRA payments to the City of Boynton Beach for technical
3 support during the three (3) year term shall be as follows:
4 Year 7 2/1/12 — 1/31/13 $21,493
5 Year 8 2/1/13 — 1/31/14 $22,137
6 Year 9 2/1/14 — 1/31/15 $22, 802

'8 Section 3. A copy of this Resolution shall be affixed to the original Agreement on
9 file with the City Clerk and shall serve as a second addendum to the original agreement.
ilO Section 4. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
