1 ORDINANCE NO. 11- 033 2 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 4 ; CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING 5 CHAPTER 2. ADMINISTRATION. ARTICLE III. 6 ' ELECTIONS. SECTION 2 -41. VOTING DISTRICTS, OF 7 1 THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ESTABLISHING 8 REVISED REDISTRICTING BOUNDARY MAPS; 9 ; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, 10 ; CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 11 12 ' WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17(G) of the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, 13 ; i the geographic boundaries for each of the four (4) voting districts of the City Commission 14 ■ { have been revised; and 15 , WHEREAS, the City Commission deems the adoption of this Ordinance to be in the 16 ' ; best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida; 17 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 18 , ` THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: i 6 19 , f Section 1. The foregoing whereas clauses are true and correct and are now ratified 20 ' and confirmed by the City Commission. 21 < < Section 2. Chapter 2. Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion 20 thereof be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not 21 affect the remainder of this Ordinance. 22 Section 5. Authority is hereby given to codify this Ordinance. 23 Section 6.
