BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, TUESDAY~ SEPTEMBER 26, 1978 AT 5:15 p.
PRESENT
Emily M. Jaokson, Mayor
Joseph DeMareo, Couneilman Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk
David Roberts, Couneilman
Mayer Jaekson ealted the meeting to order at 5:15 p. M. and announced
it was a Speeial Meeting in aeeordanee with Section 56 of the City
Charter of the City of Boynton Beach to ratify the appointment of
Robert H. Carlson as Administrative Director of the South Central Regional
Wastewater Treatment & Disposal Board.
Mayor Jackson read the following exeerpt from the September 12th
BoardmeetingMeeting:°f the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment & Disposal
7~Mr. DeMareo made a morion that Mr. Robert Carlson be hired
at the starting salary of $18,000, seconded by Mr. Harmening. Mr.
Federspiel requested that it be ineluded in the motion that Mr.
Carlson would be serving at the pleasure of the Board."
Mr. DeMareo moved to eonfirm the action o£ the South Central Regional
Wastewater Treatment & Disposal Board hiring Mr. Robert Carlson at the
Starting salary of $18~000 with Mr. CarlSon serving at the pleasure
of the Board. Mr. Roberts seconded the motion. Under diseussion,
Mayor Jackson added that Mr. Carlson is now on the job and Deiray
Beach ratified this action last night. Motion carried 3-0.
May~r Jaekson declared the meeting adjourned at 5:20 p. M.
