3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
4 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN
5 AWARD OF BID #044 - 2821- 12/DJL TO ELECTRICAL
8 CONTRACTING SERVICE, INC., OF HIALEAH,
7 FLORIDA, TO FURNISH AND INSTALL GENERATOR
8 SET FOR THE WATER UTILITIES EAST WELL FIELD IN
9 THE AMOUNT OF $69,700.00; AND PROVIDING AN
10 EFFECTIVE DATE.

12 WHEREAS, on May 30, 2012, five (5) bids were received by the City in response
13 to Invitation to Bid #044 - 2821 -12 /DJL which were reviewed and evaluated by the Utilities
14 ' Department and Procurement Services Division; and
15 WHEREAS, there was concurrence that Electrical Contracting Service, Inc., was

18 the most responsive, responsible bidder on the basis not only of cost, but acceptable
i
1, ; technical specifications and time for completion of the work.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION

2q j Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed

211 1 as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon

2 adoption.
21 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,

241 i hereby approves the award of Bid #044 - 2821 -12 /DJL to Electrical Contracting Service,
28 Inc., to furnish and install Generator Set for the Water Utilities East Well Field in the
2511 amount of $69,700.00.
27 ;1'1 Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
