A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AN DIRECTING STAFF TO APPLY
FOR THE CHILDREN,S SERVICES COUNCIL GRANT
(LATCHKEY PROGRAM) FOR THE 1994-95 FISCAL
YEAR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Latchkey Afterschool Recreation Programs at
.ng Green School and Poinciana School have been 100%
funded by Children's Services Council for the past five years;
and
WHEREAS, the City does not have a funding source for this
program and is relying on 100% grant funding from Children's
Services Council for continuation of this needed children's
service; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida upon recommendation of staff, deems it to be in
the best interests of the residents and citizens of the City
to apply for the Children's Services Council Grant (Latchkey
Program) for the 1994-95 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of Boynton Beach,
Florida does hereby authorize and direct staff to apply for
the Childr~en's Services Council Grant (Latchkey Program) for
the 4994-95 fiscal year.
Section 2. That this Resolution
effective immediately upon passage.
