6 APPROVING THE "PIGGY- BACK" OF A PALM
7 BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA BID #12- 064 /SWC
6 WITH MORTON INTERNATIONAL, INC., FOR THE
9 PROVISION OF GRANULAR SODIUM CHLORIDE
1P FOR AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL EXPENDITURE OF
1 $65,000; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

1' WHEREAS, City staff has confirmed that Palm Beach County has complied with
1- Public Contract Bid requirements which equal or exceed the City of Boynton Beach's
1 ; requirements; and

1: WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, it is the City's desire to "piggy- back"
1 a Palm Beach County Bid #12- 064 /SWC with Morton International, Inc., for the provision

1 of sodium chloride for an estimated annual expenditure of $65,000.
1 M i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
2 • THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
2 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
26 as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon
2c adoption.
2 p Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby

2. approves the "piggy- back" of a Palm Beach County Bid #12- 064 /SWC with Morton

2. Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
