13 FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBE ` 1, 2010 TO
14 SEPTEMBER 30, 2011; AND PROVIDING AN
15 EFFECTIVE DATE.

17 WHEREAS, the Utilities Departmen is currently using Respect of Florida for
18 custodial services at the Utility Departme s Administrative Building and the East Water
19 Treatment Plant and would like to expand their services to the West Water Treatment Plant
20 for a period of one (1) year; and
21 WHEREAS, RESPECT is program falling under the auspices of the State of Florida
22 according to Florida Statute 4 3.036 which provides employment to disabled citizens of
23 Florida.
24 NOW, THEREF 1 RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
25 OF THE CITY OF B 4 YNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
26 Section 1. T e foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being
27 true and correct . d are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof.
28 Sectio 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
29 approves a ustodial Services Agreement with RESPECT OF FLORIDA for the East and
30 West W. er Treatment Plants in the amount of $27,045.77 and the Utilities Administrative
31 Buildi g in the amount of $22,915.07 for a total expenditure of $49,960.84, and authorizes the

1 City Manager and City Clerk to execute the Agreement between the parties fo he period of
2 October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto .s Exhibit "A ".
3 Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective im ediately.
4 PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS no day of October, 010.
