AN ORDIN~qCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA;
ADOPTING FEDERAL INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION FLOOD IN-
SURANCE MfAP AND, ESTABLISHING MINIMUM REQUIRE~iENTS
FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE
SAID FLOOD ZONES: PROVIDING FURTHER FOR AUTHORITY
TO CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISION, AN
EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Federal Insurance Administration F~ood Insur-
ance Rate Map Community number Panel ~1201-96-000-5B, now on file
in the office of the Building Official of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida; is hereby approved and adopted for the purpose of
establishing flood zones within the munmclpal limits of the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, and in connection therewith, mmnmmum
requirements for construction of improvements located within said
zones attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby adopted.
Section 2: Authority to Codify: Specific authority is hereby
granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in the City's
existing Code.
Section 3: Separability: Each of the
nance ~reseparable, including word, clause,
and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid, the
portion shall not be affected but shall remain mn full force and
effect.
Section 4: Repealing Provision: All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5: An Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by Law.
