AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA~ INCREASING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FEES
FOR WATER AND SEWER CONNECTION CPLARGES:
PROVIDING THAT ALL FUNDS DERIVED FROM SAID
FEES BE E~ED FOR CAPITAL !~ROVEMENTS
TO WATER A~ND S~qER SYSTEMS AS A WHOLE;
PROVIDING FURTHER FOR AUTHORITY TO CODIFY,
SA%~INGS CLAUSE~ REPEkLING PROVISION, AND
EFFECTIVE DATE, AND ~OR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section'l: That Section 30B-32 (I) (1) (a)
Of the codi£ied Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, be and
the same is hereby amended to mncrease capital improuement fee
for water connection charges for smngle family dwellings~
condomini~ms~ cooperative and rental apartments~ ~nd any other
multi-unit apartments, from $50.00 per unit to $150.00 per unit~
and the capital improvement fee for sewer connection char~es
for single family dwellings~ condominiu/us~ cooperative and rental
apartments; and any other multi-unit apartments, from $100.00
per unit to $300.00 per unit.
It is specifically provided that all oast and future
funds derived from the above capital improvement fees are
e~rmarked for capital improvement to the municipal water and
sewer systems as a whole.
Section 2: Authority to Codify: Specific authority
is hereby granted to codify and incorporate this Ordinance in
the City's existing Code.
Section 3: Separability: Each of the provisions of
this Ordinance is separable, including word~ clause, phrase, or
senuence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid.
