O78-34 ORDINANCE NO. 78-~ AW APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF TEE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FisCAL yEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 'l, 1978, AND E~DING SEPTEMBER 30, 1979 WHEREAS, the city Charter of the city of Boyn~on Beach, Florida, requires an appropriations ordinance 'be passed by the City Council of said municipality each year, adopting a budget sho~ing revenue Of the City from'all sources and the estimated to the various purposes for the ensuing fiscal year: NOW% THEREFORE, BE IT 0RDAIIqED BY THE CITY COUNCIL~OF THE CITY OF BOYNTONBEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year previously prepared by the city Manager now on file in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby finalized and adopted for the fiscal year of said municipality beginning October 1, 1978, and ending September 30, 1979, pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of Section 28 and Section 84 of the City Charter of the city of Boynton Beach, Florida, said budget being made a pmrt hereof by reference. Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $6,746,154 to the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the City Government pursuant to the terms of the above budget. Section 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $11,255 to the Interest and sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of paying the interest, principal and reserve due on the general obligation bonds of the City not subject to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature. Section 4: of $2,483,746 to the Water and Sewer Utility Fund expenses and necessary capital outlay. That there is hereby appropriated the sum for operating Page i of 2 Pages Section 5: That there is hereby appropriated to the Water and Sewer Utility Fund the sum of $822,755 for the purpose of paying interest due on the Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds, the su~ of $475,000 for depreciation of the utilities fixed assets and amortization of its Revenue Bond Discounts and prepaid insur- ance, amd the sum of $!85~000 for transfer to the General Fund for a total of $1,482,755. Section 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $36,560 ko the Publicity and Advertising Fund for the payment of operating expenses pursuant to the terms of the above bud. get. Section 7: That this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, in such cases made and provided.
