CODIFY, SAVINGS CLAHSE~ REPEALING PROVISIONS, EFFEC-
TIVE D~TE 'AND FOROTHB~ PURPOSES. -
BE IT ORDATNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 21-35 of Chapter 21 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach~ Florida, ms hereby amended
by adding a Second paragraph thereto to read as follows:
~ memberof the plan who transfers to South Central Regional
Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Facility shall not be consid-
ered to have terminated service with the City for the purpose
of determining whether or not he has eomp!eted 10 or more years --~
of service unless and until such member ~ither terminates
serviae with such Facility or withdraws his contribution under
this plan as described in Section 21-53 but for the purpose of
determining the amcunt of annuity described in Section 21z47 or
2t-50 such service after transfer shall 5ct be cou~ted."
Section 2: Separability: Each of the provismons of this ordi-
nance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence, and
if any portion thereof shall be dealared invalid, the remaining
portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full ~orce and effect.
Section 3: Repealing Provision: Ail ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Sectmon ~. Authority to Codify: Specific authority is hereby
granted to codify and incorporate this ordinance into the 2ity's
existing 2ode.
Section 5: AnEffeetive Date: This ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided by law.
