R13-133 11 1 RESOLUTION R13 -133 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 4 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING 5 i ' AND ADOPTING THE 2013 -2014 CITY COMMISSION 6 STRATEGIC PLAN FOCUSED WORK PROGRAM AND 7 ACTION ITEMS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE 8 DATE. 9; 10 WHEREAS, the City Commission and staff have embarked on a strategic planning 11 process that creates goals focusing on outcome -based objectives and potential actions for a 12 five (5) year period; and 13 WHEREAS, this document is the one (1) year focused work program with action 14 items that defines the policy agenda for the City Commission; management agenda for staff; 15 major projects and implementation initiatives. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 17 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 18 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as 19 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption. 20 Section 2.
