MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL©F THE CITY OF BOYNTON BE~CH, FLORIDA, HELD AT CIT? HALL, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 1971: at 4:50 P, M. PRESENT: Forrest L. Wallace: Mayor Robert B. Effron: Vice Mayor Mrs. Emily M. Jackson~ Councilwoman John L. Archie, CounciLman Harold L. Blanchette ~ CounciLman C. Q. Jones~ Jr., City Manager Mrs. Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk Mayor Wallace called a special meeting, with the consent of all five members of Councils to order at 4:50 P. M.~ to consider the adoption of Resolution No. 71-H. Mr. Jones read subject resolution requesting the PaLm Beach County Legislative Delegation To strive toward optional assessment and col- lection of taxes by the County rather than mandatory.
