A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE
SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
AND DISPOSAL BOARD ACTIONS OF OCTOBER 21,
1993, AS SET FORTH IN ATTACHMENT "A"; AND
PROVIDINGAN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment
& Disposal Board (SCRWTDB) requests ratification of actions
taken by the Board on October 21, 1993, by the Cities of
Boynton Beach and Delray Beach, as set forth in attachment
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, does hereby ratify the actions taken by the
South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment & Disposal Board
on October 21, 1993, and authorizes and directs the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute said ratification.
Section 2. This
immediately upon passage.

ATTACHMENT "A"
1. Amend the 93/94 capital assets portion of
the budget by expending up to $20,000 from the
computer hardware portion for the purchase of
a used self propelled boom lift $16,500;
portable water pump $2,500; used golf car
$1.000.
2. Expend $14,000 from the sinking fund to
retrofit all existing lamps and ballast with
energy efficient lamps and ballast.
3. Amend the ratification dated July 15,
1993, to increase purchase price of gear box
and drive motor from $3,000 to $4,310 to be
expended from the sinking fund.
4. Expend from capital projects an
additional $50,000 for anticipated costs for
services associated with the reuse water
system.
5. Expend $10,000 ~rom the sinking fund to
repair cracks in aeration basin.
RATIFICATION OF SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL
WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD
ACTION OF OCTOBER 21, 1993
WHEREAS, the South Central Regional Wastewauer Treatmenu and
Disposal Board did on October 21, 1993, by a vote of 7-0,
authorized uo expend from capital pro2ects an additional S50,000
for anticipated costs for services associated with the reuse
wauer system.
WHEREAS, said Board action requires ratification by the City of
B0ynton Bsach and the city of Delray Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Boynton and the City of Delray Beach
hereby ratify said Board action independently.
The above action is hereby ratified in open session by the City
of Boynton Beach this i6th day of November 1993, by a
